Blanca Treviño
President & CEO

Featured as a Rising Star in 2007 by Fortune Magazine’s “50 most powerful women in global business” issue, Mrs. Treviño is Chairperson and CEO of Softtek since August 2000. Under her leadership the company has become the largest private IT service provider in Latin America and has been recognized by analysts as the only non-Indian offshore service provider to pose serious competition for the US market.

Blanca has spent 20 of her 25 year career with Softtek, and has held different positions. During her term as CEO, the company has grown over 300% in headcount and 400% in revenue.

Mrs. Treviño sits at the board of different organizations and universities, including WalMart Mexico, The United States – Mexico Foundation for Science, University of Monterrey and Universidad Tec Milenio. She also serves as an advisor for the government of Nuevo Leon, her home state in Mexico.

In October 2007 Blanca was selected as the third most influential business woman in Mexico by CNN / Expansion, and in 2004 she was selected as Technology Leader of the year by Latin Trade Magazine. Mrs. Treviño holds a BS degree in Computer Sciences from the Monterrey Tec.

Beni Lopez
CEO Softtek Near Shore® Services

Beni Lopez has been Softtek U.S. CEO since September 2000. He is responsible for Near Shore® Services, including strategy definition for growth in IT outsourcing in the United States and Asia, supervising sales, operations and overall support. He also demonstrates an understanding of what is needed to launch operations in and for different countries, including marketing, sales, legal and human resources and administrative compliance.

Mr. Lopez joined Softtek in 1989 and has worked in different positions throughout the organization. He has guided and helped inaugurate the company’s various new market and technology operations. In the early 1990s, he founded and developed the Object Oriented Technology Unit practice, which marked Softtek’s entrance into commercial applications outside the mainframe and midrange environment. He later established Softtek’s Business Intelligence practice and then moved on to help the company’s globalization efforts in Peru, Argentina and Colombia. In 1995 Lopez became Managing Partner in Brazil and led the Software Development business, from offer definition to sales and delivery. In 1997, Lopez became the Global Business Relationship Manager for a diversified technology, media and financial services Fortune 50 company. In 1999, he assumed responsibility for Sales and Marketing in the United States, and in 2000, he became U.S. CEO. Mr. Lopez holds a computer systems engineering degree from Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores in Monterrey, Mexico and has been a speaker and panelist for numerous outsourcing and offshore/nearshore conferences globally.

Francisco Javier Angeles
CEO South America & Caribbean
Francisco’s key strength is his passion for ambitious and challenging endeavors. In 1994, when he was 27 years old, he decided to open Softtek’s offices in Brazil. Two years later, after the successful start-up in Brazil, he led the company expansion to new regions, including Argentina, Colombia, Venezuela and Peru. Francisco did not just became CEO for South America, he actually founded the entire business unit, managing to position the company in a short time, garnering important recognitions, such as 9 SAP Awards of Excellence in the past 10 years.

Francisco also fostered a unique corporate culture that attracts the best talent, allowing Softtek to become one of the best places to work for in the region, according to Great Place To Work Institute and other studies.

Francisco also founded Softtek Solidaria, a non-profit organization that focuses on helping poor communities and vulnerable groups stand on their own and reach decent standards of living. Softtek associates voluntarily participate on Solidaria projects, making a difference for many groups in need of a hand.

Fabio Bittencourt Daniel
CEO Softtek Mexico & Central America

Fabio is CEO for Mexico and Central America. Since appointed appointed as CEO in January 2003 Fabio has been responsible for strategy implementation and overall performance in the region. Since 2000, Fabio has held different executive positions, including VP for Advanced Solutions and Chief Operating Officer for the US.

Prior to joining Softtek Mr. Daniel served for more than 10 years in IT management positions in different logistics & transportation companies in Brazil, US and Mexico, including his role as Director for Information Services for TMM a leading $1 billion Maritime Transportation & logistics corporation, where he was responsible for the IT services of the company.
Fabio holds a BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the IEEP in Sao Paolo Brazil, post graduate studies in Business Administration in the PUC in Sao Paolo and Computer Sciences in Southern Tech. in Atlanta, GA.

Marcos Jimenez
CEO Softtek Europe
Marcos has more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry, and has been a Softtek leader since joining the firm more than a decade ago. In 2004, after occupying several key roles in the organization, he assumed responsibility for Softtek’s sales and marketing in the US region, managing to double the revenues in three years. Marcos is now Softtek’s CEO for Europe and sits at the company’s Executive Board. Marcos is a graduate from UAM University in Mexico.

Roberto Montelongo
Chief Operating Officer

Roberto acts as Chief Operating Officer for Softtek since 2006, a role he played exclusively for the company's Near Shore® segment for 2 years. He is responsible for the operation of different service delivery units, and manages the company’s capacity, SLA compliance and different quality certifications. In his current position Roberto oversees the work of nearly 6,000 associates developing and maintaining software applications for Softtek’s clients around the world.

Roberto's career accomplishments include major contributions in the area of project management within the firm. Since September 1988, two years after joining Softtek as an analyst and programmer, he undertook the challenge of managing Softtek's largest project at the time. It was in 1997, after managing the most ambitious pension fund projects that Mexico and thus Softtek had undertaken, that he became Softtek's vice president in charge of US Operations.

Previous to his work at Softtek, Roberto was the head of capacity planning in Bancomer, one of Mexico’s largest banks, where he worked from 1983 to 1986. He holds a BS in Electronic Systems Engineering from the Instituto Tecnologico de Monterrey.

Fernando Vega
Chief Shared Services Officer

Mr. Fernando Vega is responsible for Shared Services, which encompasses several backoffice functions such as facilities management, telecommunications infrastructure, helpdesk and several other functions such as government affairs, and university linkage programs which are vital for the viability of the service delivery capability of the company. Fernando has been responsible for the implementation of the company’s trainee program known as Momentum, a highly valued universities linkage program. Mexico’s Government Officials have recognized Softtek’s Momentum Program as a catalyst of educational programs in the country, and as a promoter of equal opportunities for students. Mr. Fernando Vega implemented the People CMMi Program, currently being deployed in Softtek’s Global Delivery Centers which encouraged the enterprise-wide participation in the corporation’s CMMi Level 5 Assessments. Before his appointment as Vice President, Fernando was responsible for the Multinational Sales Segment, which he headed until 1995. He joined Softtek in 1985 as a programmer and analyst.

Jorge Sapien
Chief Financial Officer

When Jorge Sapien took position as Softtek’s CFO in September 2004, he accepted the challenge to create a management and finance team capable of responding to the challenges a very dynamic organization with a legacy of more than 20 years.

During the last few years, Jorge has reorganized internal account management, improved the registration process, redefined core policies, supported external financial statements audits from leading international auditing firms, and optimized most accounting processes to ensure fiscal and financial compliance. During the last year, Jorge played a critical role in finding the right financing options to support Softtek’s growth and refinance strategies, with significant positive impact in our bottom line, among many other key contributions to the organization.

Jorge has also established a planning corporate area, which enables a more thorough and orderly evaluation of projects impact and feasibility studies, a critical step in aligning the acquisition process and in maturing our strategic analysis process. Additionally, he has restructured the finance and administration team in order to interact in an orchestrated manner with Softtek local branches, assuring high integrity of the accounting and management processes.

His professional career began when he became advisor at KPMG, participating in projects for key clients such as Gillette Mexico, Robert Bosch Mexico, and Mexicana de Aviación. He later joined Grupo Financiero Serfín in the Corporate Finance area, moving later to FEMSA as a strategic planning manager. Before joining Softtek, Jorge acted as Corporate Finance Director in Arthur Andersen.

Jorge Sapien holds a Business Administration degree from ITESM, Campus Monterrey. He made a post-master in “Certificate in Special Studies in Administration and Management” at Harvard University. In 1998 he received his MBA from The Wharton School, with a major in finance. Jorge is currently an active member of IMEF (Instituto Mexicano de Ejecutivos de Finanzas).
