Softtek Inaugurates Second Phase of Technology Campus in Aguascalientes with New Eco-Friendly Facility

With the LEED® Gold certification, which guarantees minimal ecological impact and high sustainability, Softtek’s third building in Aguascalientes is unique in its class.

MEXICO CITY, Mexico – November 23, 2015 – Softtek, founder of the nearshore industry and leading global IT services dedicated to creating value through technology, held the opening ceremony of the third building within the complex that makes up its technology campus in the city of Aguascalientes, Mexico. The new facilities are part of Softtek’s growth strategy, and will accommodate more than 900 professionals, from where the company serves the IT outsourcing services market as well as the growing domestic market.

The new construction was built under the highest standards of sustainability. "We are proud to host the first  LEED® Gold-certified building dedicated to technology services in the state of Aguascalientes,” said Ricardo Rodriguez, director of physical infrastructure at Softtek. “This recognition certifies that the facilities have the least possible environmental impact, as well as the capabilities for efficient energy use and recycling of resources."

Softtek has invested $ 6 MDD in the new construction, creating thirteen sections devoted to software development, training rooms, storage and business service areas. The new facilities open more space for innovation based on disruptive technologies.

With the expansion of capabilities, the technology campus in Aguascalientes has become the most important development center for Softtek. During the inaugural event, the Governor of Aguascalientes, Carlos Lozano de la Torre was present, who has been a strong promoter of the development of the IT industry. Attendees also included various officials and representatives of state government, as well as associates of Softtek.
