Softtek Recognized as a “Best Place to Work” in Mexico

Softtek Ranks Prominently 16th in the “Súper Empresas” ranking, earning the top spot among IT services companies

MEXICO CITY – June 3, 2013 – Softtek, founder of the nearshore industry and leading global IT services provider dedicated to maximizing the value of applications, today announced its recognition as one of Mexico’s best places to work, according to leading business magazine Expansión. This recognition is the result of efforts carried out inside the organization, which considered the effectiveness of processes for internal communication, as well the development and implementation of strategies that promote professional growth and continuous improvement towards working conditions.

Softtek took 16th place within the category of more than 3,000 employees or more, which included a total of 91 companies. The results were derived from a survey of company employees, in addition to analysis of the practices and policies related to the administration of human capital, culture and work environment. Of the total 537 companies that were evaluated, only 148 were certified by “Súper Empresas” (“Super Companies”).

Expansión magazine and the consultant in organizational culture, Top Companies, responsible for evaluating participants, highlighted the importance within the “Súper Empresas” of implementing projects to motivate employees—promoting equality, integration, professional development and work flexibility, in addition to the commitment—with community and a leadership mentality.

“Unlike any other industry, that of IT services relies on talent. The heart of our company is our people, and it is our responsibility to nourish it,” mentioned Blanca Treviño, president and CEO of Softtek. “The recognition provided by our team through the Top Companies study is an incentive to continue improving the experience and the value we deliver to each person.”
