Softtek to showcase application services portfolio at Gartner Symposium/ITxpo 2010

Sponsor for conference invites attendees to learn about its process-driven approach and watch iPad artist create masterpieces live

GARTNER SYMPOSIUM/ITxpo, ORLANDO, Fla. – October 13, 2010 – Softtek, provider of process-driven IT services that increase the business value of Fortune 1000 organizations’ application portfolios, announced today that it will be a sponsor of the Gartner Symposium/ITxpo 2010 where it will present its services platform. Softtek helps the CIO office run IT as a business by reducing the cost of existing applications, accelerating time-to-business-solutions, increasing quality of applications and producing more predictable outcomes.

Softtek, which provides full application lifecycle services, is the creator and leads the nearshore industry. At the conference, executives will discuss solutions in application services including development validation (such as testing, security and compliance, implementation), and also maintenance and support of home-grown and packaged enterprise applications.

“The process of creating [applications]” is the core theme for Softtek’s participation at the expo, as the rigorous process behind implementing and maintaining enterprise software enables better end results for its clients.

Additionally, Softtek will sponsor three cocktail hours, where artist John Bavaro will create portraits using an iPad. The cocktail receptions will also provide attendees with an opportunity to network with other IT professionals across the spectrum.

“At Softtek, we believe in providing the most value to our clients through lowering costs, better applications, improved outcomes and faster time-to-business solutions,” said Alex Camino, Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Softtek. “With our participation at the Gartner Symposium/ITxpo 2010, we will showcase the geographic benefits of our Near Shore® model and how we deliver better engineered and tested applications to all of our clients.”

By having an artist use only an iPad as his canvas, Softtek will demonstrate how even the most creative activity, including artistic expressions, can be enhanced by following a structured process.
