MONTERREY, Mexico — April 28, 2026 — Softtek, a global software engineering and IT services company, today announced the appointment of David Jiménez as Global CEO, effective October 1, 2026. Blanca Treviño, who has served as President and CEO for 26 years, will assume the role of Executive President, while continuing her responsibilities as President of the Board of Directors.
The decision was the result of a formal process led by the Executive Committee with the support of Russell Reynolds Associates, an international firm specializing in executive succession, and was approved by the Board of Directors.
A Stronger Leadership Structure
The decision to separate roles reflects the conviction that each one requires full dedication and focus. With this new structure, Softtek expands its leadership.
As President of the Board, Blanca Treviño will continue to oversee the company’s highest corporate governance function, safeguarding shareholder value. In her role as Executive President, she will be responsible for defining Softtek’s long-term vision and strategy, while remaining actively engaged in the company’s institutional relationships. David Jiménez will lead the execution of strategy, day-to-day operations, and results.
David Jiménez: Fifteen Years Building Softtek
David Jiménez joined Softtek 15 years ago. He began his career in finance, reporting to the CFO and leading the Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) function. He later led sales teams in the Mexican market and, for the past five years, served as Managing Director of the global Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) business unit. His career brings together a deep understanding of the organization and a clear sense of where it needs to go to stay competitive in a world shaped by AI and digital transformation.
