Valores Corporativos Softtek, SA de CV, on behalf of its affiliates and/or subsidiaries (hereinafter referred to as “Softtek”, “us” “we” and/or “our”) provides its privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) to inform you of our procedures and policies regarding the processing of your information, as well as your rights and choices about such use and disclosure. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, capitalized terms used herein have the same meanings as in our terms of service.

In this regard, Softtek informs you that the personal data you voluntarily provide to Softtek through this website, such as: full name, email address, landline or mobile phone number, company where you provide a service, position and functions within the company, information contained in your resume in the case of applying for a job, basic technical metadata (e.g., date/time, IP for security/antispam), among others, will be collected, stored, used, and in general terms, processed by Softtek as the data controller for the following purposes:

  1. Verify the accuracy of the data provided;
  2. To contact you through different means, such as email, to send you information of an informative nature, relevant information about Sofftek , our services or events, newsletters and/or promotional materials, which may include marketing communications, news, promotions; as well as responding to your requests, comments, suggestions or opinions made through our "Contact Us" portal or to follow up on your job application in the "Submit your CV" section;
  3. If you so request, we will include you in our professional development programs and courses;
  4. Perform the necessary activities to manage the website, which may include the transmission or transfer of data to Softtek's third-party partners, such as the provider responsible for the creation and/or operation of services related to the website, who will act as data processors in relation to your data and may store, process, protect and maintain your personal data.

We are committed to complying with Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents The PIPEDA Act and its 10 principles of fair information practices (accountability, identification of purposes, consent, limitation of collection, limitation of use/disclosure/retention, accuracy, safeguards, openness, individual access and the possibility of challenging compliance).

Softtek will not sell, assign, or transfer your personal data to third parties unrelated to Softtek without your prior and express consent. Softtek may transmit or transfer your personal data to any of its affiliated companies. In particular, your personal data may be transferred to Valores Corporativos Softtek SA de CV, located in Mexico, for the purpose of centralized information management. Softtek may transmit your personal data to third-party suppliers, employees, contractors or subcontractors, service providers, distributors, and/or advisors related to the processing, who, if they process your personal data, will do so on behalf of Softtek for the purposes described above and will be contractually obligated to keep such information confidential and may not use it for any other purpose. Softtek reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Notice, which will be communicated to you through the website www.softtek.com. In the event of substantial changes, as defined by applicable regulations, we will inform you before the change takes effect.
