Softtek Earns Fair Play, Equal Pay Certification from Girl Scouts

Softtek achieves Fair Play Equal Pay certification from Girl Scouts. Learn about our commitment to gender equality.

Dallas, TX – March 23, 2023 – Softtek, a global company dedicated to helping organizations evolve through digital technology, has been recognized with the Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) Fair Play, Equal Pay® certification, acknowledging its commitment to gender parity.

Softtek is one of seven companies, including WTW and Zoom, certified by the GSUSA initiative. These organizations commit with a pledge to advance gender parity in their respective organizations and business sectors, helping to build an equitable future for girls.

“We are excited to team up with Girl Scouts to help contribute to making the workforce a fairer and more equitable environment,” said Stephanie Moore, SVP of Marketing for Softtek in the US.  “Our commitment to providing and advocating for opportunities for talent goes beyond gender. Equal treatment and opportunities for all, without discrimination is a pillar of our diversity and inclusion.”

In 2023, Softtek will expand its Codellege program, an initiative that provides training in programming and soft skills to youth in underprivileged communities in preparation for the workforce . This includes a partnership with a leading provider in online courses/training to reach more people. Furthermore, Softtek’s Connect.Ada program focuses specifically on providing women with training to work in the fields of IT.

"Gender parity is not only critical to retain top-notch female talent in the workforce, but measuring how it changes over time within a company is imperative," said Angela Olden, chief financial officer at GSUSA and executive sponsor of the gender parity initiative. "Be prepared is the motto that Girl Scouts lives by, and through our Gender Parity Initiative, we are setting an example for preparedness for the future of the workforce. All companies should follow GSUSA and the lead of these seven companies and commit to foster the next generation of female leaders by offering them meaningful leadership opportunities and ensuring they are equitably compensated."
